Job Summary
Inspect, maintain, and repair all electrical/mechanical equipment, including plastic injection blow mold machinery, in the plant and surrounding facilities without supervision or assistance. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to a "like new" state by tearing down machinery, replacing damaged parts, and operating mechanical equipment to determine necessary repairs. Overhaul machinery, install and dismantle equipment, and perform general building maintenance repairs. Execute preventative maintenance duties such as greasing and oiling while adhering to all safety, food safety, and GMP rules. Care for hand tools and possess the competency to diagnose malfunctions down to circuit board level. Identify issues beyond your ability to rectify and communicate them promptly to the Maintenance Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Follow all safety, food safety, & GMP rules and regulations.
- Possess the electrical competency to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions down to circuit board level.
- Possess excellent technical and critical thinking skills.
- Well versed in a broad spectrum of trades.
- Must provide own hand tools and tool box.
- Identify issues that he/she is not able to rectify and communicate them promptly to the Maintenance Manager for assistance.
