Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installing, repairing, replacing, and inspecting pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures. This role requires the ability to perform general trade skills with minimal supervision. Essential tasks include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues, managing work requests and updates, and using personal protective equipment. Proficient knowledge of essential systems like boiler and chiller plants, and plumbing systems is necessary. One (1) year of experience with an Associate’s degree or three (3) years without is required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in a technical field of study
- One (1) year of experience with Associate’s degree
- Three (3) years of experience in lieu of an Associate's degree
- Proficient in use of all tools and equipment associated with trade
- Possesses electrical, mechanical and plumbing skills
- Safety knowledge
