Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic on 3rd shift responsible for repairing and maintaining injection molding equipment, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, overhauls, and responding to maintenance issues from plant staff. Will mentor new hires and lower skilled maintenance staff, communicate issues to management, and log activities in the IQMS database with accuracy and timeliness. Serves as Lead when the plant operates on weekends, understanding emergency procedures and contacts, while maintaining a safe, GMP-compliant work environment and adherence to OSHA safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Self-starter
- proficient use of hand tools
- mechanically inclined
- basic understanding of plant electrical and control circuits
- advanced trouble shooting skills
- English language proficiency (verbal and written)
- basic computer skills
