Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components on CNC machines. Ensure the operation of CNC machines and mechanical equipment by checking, analyzing, reconnecting, and repairing gear drive systems. Disconnect motors and solenoids to perform minor electrical repairs on de-energized circuits, then rebuild gear boxes and electrical motors. Requires a high school diploma, one to three years of manufacturing experience, and the ability to read part diagrams and interpret complicated drawings. This 3rd shift position runs from 10pm to 6am at $35.85/hour. Candidates must pass the Snap-on eligibility test.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- one to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret part diagrams
- Ability to use shop mathematics
- Ability to work with fairly complicated drawings
- good troubleshooting ability
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical maintenance including motors, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps
- Will be required to pass the eligibility test provided by Snap-on
