Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic on 3rd shift at Clyde’s Donuts, responsible for mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production, packaging, and plant equipment including heaters, refrigeration, conveyors, motors, and related components. Work with MVP One CMMS to access maintenance schedules, complete inspections, perform emergency repairs, install new equipment, troubleshoot PLCs and motor controls, maintain facility utilities, read schematics, and document activity. Required qualification includes 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience and strong diagnostic, reading of diagrams, and safety/GMP compliance. The role offers a sign-on bonus, weekend bonuses, overtime availability, a tool allowance, and comprehensive benefits. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; relocation is not specified. The position is on-site at Clyde’s Donuts in Glendale Heights, IL, with a 3rd shift schedule and voluntary OT.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of related industrial maintenance experience and/or training
- Able to trouble shoot malfunctions, solve practical problems, and deal with a variety of variables under time constraints and pressure to restore operations
- Able to read, interpret and comprehend a variety of complex work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and technical manuals furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Demonstrates sound and accurate judgment
- Communication skills and professional writing abilities
- Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and manuals
