Job Summary
Conduct, maintain, test, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to restore equipment malfunctions across the manufacturing facility. Perform the install, start-up, and shut-down of machinery in accordance with OSHA safety procedures, while documenting performance records and reporting potential hazards to management. Execute preventative maintenance functions and assist with technical troubleshooting as directed. Work the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) at Coal Center, PA, earning $27.89/hr with quarterly production bonus eligibility. Requires PLC programming knowledge, diagnostic instrument skills, and flexibility for overtime. Comprehensive training and health benefits available after 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components
- Must be able to apply knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restore in all areas of Manufacturing
- Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment
- Ability to work safely
- A thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
- Computer experience/operation and PLC programming
- Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment
