Job Summary
Conduct, maintain, test, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across the manufacturing facility. Perform preventative maintenance, assist with technical troubleshooting, and execute the install, start-up, and shut-down of equipment in accordance with OSHA safety procedures. Maintain performance records for identified equipment and inform management of potential mechanical problems or inherent dangers. Work the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) with flexibility for overtime, applying knowledge of electrical principles and PLC programming to restore equipment malfunctions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components
- Must be able to apply knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restore in all areas of Manufacturing
- Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment
- Ability to work safely
- A thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
- Computer experience/operation and PLC programming
- Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
