Job Summary
Install, start up, and shut down manufacturing equipment in accordance with OSHA safety procedures. Perform preventative maintenance, conduct technical troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and restore equipment malfunctions across the facility. Maintain performance and maintenance records for identified machinery while informing management of potential dangers. Apply knowledge of electrical principles and PLC programming to diagnose issues and ensure a clean, safe work environment. Work the second shift (3pm-11pm) with flexibility for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components
- Must be able to apply knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restore in all areas of Manufacturing
- Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment
- Ability to work safely
- A thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
- Computer experience/operation and PLC programming
- Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment
