Job Summary
Conduct, maintain, test, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components across the manufacturing facility. Perform preventative maintenance, assist with technical troubleshooting, and execute the install, start-up, and shut-down of equipment in accordance with OSHA safety procedures. Maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment while informing management of potential mechanical problems and inherent dangers. Work the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) at Smurfit Westrock's Coal Center, PA location. Apply knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles to determine equipment malfunctions and restore operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components
- Must be able to apply knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restore in all areas of Manufacturing
- Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment
- Ability to work safely
- A thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
- Computer experience/operation and PLC programming
- Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment
