Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance across a wide range of industrial machinery and production equipment to minimize downtime; troubleshoot and repair equipment including pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, chillers, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems; diagnose mechanical and electrical issues related to production and facility equipment; support predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment performance and reliability; walk through the facility to inspect, repair, and maintain tasks while adhering to safety, food safety, and GMP requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical and electrical drive or control systems
- Experience supporting preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Mechanical troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Basic computer experience (2 years preferred)
- Current work history with at least 1 year of recent employment
- Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment
