Job Summary
Execute routine preventive maintenance tasks on corrugated manufacturing machinery and follow established schedules to ensure equipment reliability. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes, then conduct repairs on malfunctioning machinery by replacing parts and components. Collaborate with machine operators and production supervisors while maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements. Participate in equipment upgrade projects to enhance machinery capabilities and perform repairs on electrical components like motors and sensors. Requires familiarity with corrugated manufacturing equipment, ability to interpret electrical schematics, and proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Lift up to 25 lbs. alone and up to 50 lbs. assisted.
- Familiarity with corrugated manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Proficient in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery.
- Capability to interpret and understand electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Perform repairs on malfunctioning electrical components, such as motors, sensors, and switches.
- Replace faulty electrical parts and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
Desired Qualifications
- Technical education or certification in maintenance is a plus.
