Job Summary
Conduct primary maintenance and repair of all equipment in the Protein Conversion Plant. Perform tasks requiring mechanical, electrical, and welding experience while working in extreme conditions, confined spaces, and high places. Lift loads exceeding 75 pounds and climb ladders independently. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 AM, with weekends and overtime as needed. Pass the Maintenance Exam and maintain an excellent attendance record. Eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits after 60 days.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- General knowledge of maintenance procedures
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Mechanical experience
- Electrical experience
- Welding experience
- Willingness to work overtime
- Willingness to work weekends
- Availability for call in work
- Ability to lift in excess of 75 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to work in high places
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work in extreme conditions
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently
