Job Summary
Complete daily preventive maintenance tasks on production lines, set up, inspect, and test machinery to minimize downtime. Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues by dismantling faulty equipment, replacing parts, and restoring full functionality. Clean, lubricate key components like bearings and gears, and maintain the physical plant structure to ensure a safe, compliant environment. Adhere strictly to LOCKOUT/TAGOUT procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices while supporting production and quality teams with troubleshooting and repairs. Work across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with a competitive starting pay of $24.20 to $34.45 per hour, including shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1+ years of related experience and/or training in an industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment
- 4 years' direct experience in an industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance environment
- Vocational Diploma, Technical Diploma or associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of team personnel and outside contractors
- Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift or scissor lift or other powered industrial trucks (PIT)
- Ability to read and execute work order, write daily reports, and translate equipment manuals
Desired Qualifications
