Job Summary
Oversee community maintenance by managing repairs, make-ready processes, and preventative maintenance programs while leading a team of technicians and porters. Execute emergency response efforts for major mechanical failures and high-priority incidents, ensuring full compliance with OSHA standards and fire safety codes. Drive resident satisfaction by optimizing workflows to meet 24 to 48-hour completion targets and monitor expenses to secure competitive vendor bids. Collaborate with the Community Manager and Capital Team to coordinate unit renovations and capital improvement projects, investigating recurring issues to identify root causes and implement long-term fixes.
Required Qualifications
- EPA-CFC certification
- EPA-LBP required for communities built prior to 1978
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of apartment maintenance experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- High-rise experience
- High school diploma
