Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

Develop and maintain schedules for routine maintenance, preparing detailed work plans and coordinating labor, parts, materials, and equipment access. Direct plant maintenance personnel while performing work tasks in a cost-effective manner, ensuring safety and environmental regulations are followed. Document and track tasks to communicate variances, create SOPs for maintenance activities, and lead root cause analyses for equipment failures. Monitor asset availability, uptime, and downtime causes, while managing inventory requirements and supervising contracted job activities. Actively participate in weekly Operations & Management meetings and provide reports on work plan completion, inventory needs, and major upcoming maintenance items to the General Manager.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 4 years of experience supervising a in plant, building, or large facility as a Maintenance Manager or Senior Planner/Scheduler
  • 2 years of experience leading or supervising a small team of technicians
  • Demonstrated experience with instrumentation + control systems for Plant Operations
  • Experience in a plant, building, or facility maintenance background
  • Supervisory experience is a must
  • Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prioritize workload, be detail oriented in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Requires excellent time management, organization and prioritization capability and excellent communication and organizational skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
