Job Summary
Hands-on Maintenance Manager responsible for on-property maintenance of guest rooms, building facilities and grounds as assigned by the General Manager. Duties include daily upkeep, preventive maintenance, small repairs, and coordinating larger maintenance needs with leadership. Oversees maintenance team, maintains a clean and organized workshop, completes PM programs, responds to maintenance emergencies, and ensures safety policies are followed. Requires knowledge of hotel layout, ability to train and develop team members, and effective communication with other departments. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and obtain/maintain required certifications as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience in maintenance in a hotel or similar setting
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certificates or licenses as designated by employer/brand/local laws
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work with minimum supervision
- Ability to perform tasks with attention to detail and safety

- CPO certification
