Job Summary
Maintenance Manager/Technician responsible for leading the maintenance team and overseeing all projects and responsibilities. Perform maintenance duties to maintain and enhance community value; handle repairs and improvements of vacant apartments to market-ready status; collaborate with the maintenance team and community manager to ensure adherence to established quality maintenance standards. Requires hands-on experience across multiple trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting, Carpentry, Landscaping, and/or Pool Operation) and proficiency with standard hand tools, power tools, and related equipment. Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance; may require state Certifications such as HVAC-related credentials or Certified Pool Operator. The role emphasizes team leadership, multi-trade maintenance expertise, and ensuring the community meets quality standards set by the company.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
- Reliable transportation with auto insurance required.
- May have HVAC and other related state-required certifications, such as Certified Pool Operator. EPA certifiable status preferred.
- A minimum of one to three years verifiable hands-on general maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, etc. is preferred with proficiency in at least one major area.
