Job Summary
Maintenance Manager (Permanent - Full-Time) oversees preventive maintenance program, coordinates external service providers, and performs repairs (plaster, painting, plumbing, carpentry) for St Vincent’s Kangaroo Point aged care facility. Responsibilities include managing small facility projects, assisting in fire drills, ensuring documentation and stock control, and maintaining strong customer service and communication. Requires maintenance skills, proficiency with Excel/Word, and understanding of aged care operations; vaccination and police certificate are required. Required Qualifications
- Trade qualification desirable but not essential
- Experience managing Preventive Maintenance Program and record keeping
- Coordinating external service providers and prioritising corrective maintenance tasks
- Ability to perform maintenance works (plaster, painting, plumbing, carpentry, aged care equipment)
- Manage small projects within the facility as directed by State Property and Infrastructure Manager
- Participate in review of Facilities Emergency Procedures and assist in Fire practice drills
- Current flu and COVID-19 vaccination and National Police Certificate (within last 6 months)
