Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Directs and implements maintenance programs to sustain a safe, defect-free guest environment; inspects, maintains, and repairs mechanical, electrical, and other equipment impacting guest experience; develops and coordinates routine and preventative maintenance, manages safety and regulatory compliance, and oversees budgeting and expenditures; maintains up-to-date blueprints; performs repairs including ceiling tiles, lighting, painting, fixtures, plumbing, and general hotel property; collaborates with hotel department managers to ensure a safe, clean, and attractive property for guests and associates.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of hotel or apartment experience
- Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing maintenance
- Experience with general maintenance tools
- Troubleshooting ability with skills in painting, HVAC, and carpentry
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach upward
- Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures and cleaning chemicals
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
