Maintenance Manager

Provide overall direction for the Maintenance Department, including Supervisors, Technicians, and support staff, while modeling transparent, trusted leadership and accountability. Champion a proactive safety culture by deploying the safety program, ensuring completion of safety training and observations, leading incident investigations, and driving safety initiatives. Reinforce 5S/housekeeping standards across all maintenance areas and build a positive work environment through effective onboarding, regular one-on-ones, and recognition. Translate plant and company strategy into clear departmental goals, communicate the "why," and drive accountability to results. Develop, execute, and continuously improve maintenance systems and standards to minimize downtime, ensuring disciplined planning and high-quality execution of all maintenance activities. Maintain accurate CMMS data to enable data-driven decisions and oversee spare parts strategy, inventory accuracy, and vendor performance. Establish and monitor maintenance KPIs, lead structured problem solving, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability and operational efficiency. Develop the annual maintenance budget, manage departmental spend across labor, overtime, materials, and services, and identify reliability-driven capital needs. Prepare formal capital requests and oversee projects from concept through install, commissioning, and handoff. Provide regular status updates to plant leadership on asset performance, maintenance activities, major issues, budget status, and project milestones. Represent Maintenance in audits, customer visits, and cross-functional reviews to ensure timely escalation and alignment on plant priorities.
