Job Summary
Oversee maintenance operations for the facility's foundry, machine shop, and fabrication shops; manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians; develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs; monitor equipment performance and safety compliance; coordinate with production management to schedule repairs and minimize downtime; manage the maintenance budget, parts procurement, and vendor relations; drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and cost-effectiveness; requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of maintenance management experience in manufacturing; CMMS experience and strong leadership, problem-solving, and safety knowledge are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on foundry, machine shops, or fabrication operations
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques related to mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of maintenance professionals
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and preventive maintenance programs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures, particularly in industrial environments
