Job Summary
Supervise maintenance staff and direct repairs for exterior and interior property systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Manage the operating budget by processing purchase orders, securing competitive bids, and prioritizing work orders to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction. Oversee community cleanliness and safety compliance, conduct regular inspections, and implement preventative maintenance plans while troubleshooting emergencies. Mentor team members to enhance skills and foster a drug-free workplace, reporting injuries and maintaining meticulous records in computer software. Liaise with property management to respond to urgent issues and deliver cost-saving initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training
- A minimum of one year of supervisory experience
