Job Summary
Coordinate with the Community Manager to increase net operating income by safely maintaining property interiors and exteriors within budget. Supervise maintenance staff, develop skilled technicians, and manage work orders to ensure timely repairs and resident satisfaction. Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems while overseeing construction projects and ensuring compliance with fire, safety, and OSHA regulations. Process purchase orders, secure competitive bids, and implement preventative maintenance plans. Liaise with the property manager, respond to emergencies, and conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe workplace. Report employee injuries promptly and provide cost-saving initiatives for review.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training
- A minimum of one year of supervisory experience
