Job Summary
Coordinate with the Community Manager and Assistant Manager to increase net operating income by safely maintaining the property's exterior and interior within budget. Supervise maintenance staff, develop a skilled team, and process purchase orders to control costs. Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems while reviewing and prioritizing work orders for timely completion. Implement preventative maintenance plans, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with fire codes and OSHA regulations. Liaise with the property manager, respond to emergencies, and report employee injuries promptly. Operate on a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and after-hours call-outs.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training
- A minimum of one year of supervisory experience
