Job Summary
Coordinate with the Community Manager and Assistant Manager to increase net operating income by safely maintaining property interiors and exteriors within budget. Supervise maintenance staff, develop technician skills, and prioritize work orders to ensure timely repairs and resident satisfaction. Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems while overseeing construction projects and ensuring compliance with fire codes and OSHA regulations. Process purchase orders, secure competitive bids, and implement preventative maintenance plans. Remain on call for after-hours emergencies and conduct regular property inspections. Liaise with the property manager to respond to maintenance emergencies and follow up with residents.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training
- A minimum of one year of supervisory experience
