Job Summary
Supervise and ensure proper maintenance of the property and grounds, directing maintenance staff and developing a skilled team of Maintenance Technicians. Maintain the operating budget, secure competitive bids, and process purchase orders to keep costs under control while reviewing and prioritizing work orders for timely completion. Troubleshoot and repair various systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, and implement preventative maintenance plans while conducting regular property inspections. Liaise with the property manager, respond to maintenance emergencies, and ensure compliance with fire, safety, and OSHA regulations. Actively mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. This role requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and after-hours on-call availability, with a weekly pay of $30-$32 plus bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training
- A minimum of one year of supervisory experience
