Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Manage the repair, upkeep, and refurbishment of large tonnage injection molding machines, molds, extruders, robots, and auxiliary equipment while overseeing a team of maintenance professionals in a 24/7 operation. Execute the preventative maintenance program to national expectations, manage spare parts inventory, and lead root cause analysis of downtime events to implement permanent solutions. Schedule daily work using CMMS, collaborate with Engineering on automation installations, and ensure direct reports receive quarterly and annual performance reviews. Lead safety initiatives and apply Lean methodologies including 5S and kaizen to improve plant efficiency and continuous improvement goals.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree
- 5 years of experience in maintenance management
- Emphasis on & knowledge of safe work practices (OSHA, NEC, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- SMRP/Reliability Engineering certification
- Injection molding experience
- Specific experience with Krauss Maffei machines
- Experience managing a technical team
- Experience with robotics and automation
- Allen Bradley PLC controls
- Demonstrated experience with planning and scheduling a large team within a CMMS
- Experience with Lean methodologies, including 5S, kaizen, Kanban, visual controls, root cause analysis, and problem solving
- Strong industrial electricity and hydraulic system knowledge
