Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Design and implement proactive maintenance strategies including preventative and predictive schedules to minimize downtime while enforcing safety protocols and adhering to industry regulations. Supervise a team of hourly and salary personnel by assigning tasks, providing training, and evaluating performance to ensure efficient operations. Troubleshoot complex equipment issues, manage spare parts inventory, and analyze data to identify trends for improving maintenance practices across manufacturing sites. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, five years of relevant experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Five years of experience in maintenance management in relevant industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and efficiency
- Close attention to detail/accuracy
- Proven ability to set and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks design
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency
- Extended periods of sitting at a workstation
- Speaking in person and over the telephone or Teams online and the ability to hear, comprehend, and document detailed information from others
- Ability to type, reach and grasp
- Intermittent standing and walking within the plant environment
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing for extended periods over the phone and in person
- Ability to work in manufacturing sites, including foundries, steel mills, machine shops, forging shops, assembly centers, etc.
- Regular attendance at work

- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or other relevant certifications
