Job Summary
Maintenance Manager responsible for overseeing facility maintenance, directing a technicians team across shifts, managing inventory and spare parts, implementing preventative maintenance, and leading safety-focused initiatives. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance with internal/external resources, scheduling preventive maintenance and repairs, supervising technicians, managing the storeroom and timekeeping, acting as first responder for plant emergencies, developing PM programs, creating and delivering training, fostering safety culture with 5S practices, maintaining work-order records, providing cross-department support, and demonstrating leadership in hiring, training, motivation, and discipline. Required skills include leadership and supervision, MS Office proficiency, reading blueprints, understanding electrical/hydraulic systems, strong communication, time management, and training abilities; certifications for confined spaces and hazardous materials preferred; forklift experience a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Excellent communication, time management, and training skills
- Confined space and hazardous materials certifications preferred
- Forklift truck license a plus
