Job Summary
Maintenance Manager to lead reliability engineers and inspectors in driving asset integrity and refinery uptime through implementation of inspection programs, preventative maintenance strategies, and reliability solutions. Key responsibilities include developing and leading the team, reviewing and approving inspection and repair plans, performing Level 1-3 Fitness-for-Service assessments, coordinating Turnaround (TAR) inspections, providing SME support for hot tapping and temporary repairs, analyzing data to drive KPI improvements, maintaining accurate equipment files, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards (RAGAGEP), and fostering safe, collaborative relationships with colleagues and contractors. The role requires strong technical expertise in API/ASME codes, NDE/NDI methods, and failure analysis, along with demonstrated leadership, communication, and project-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical)
- minimum of 5 years' experience in a petrochemical or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with reliability engineering principles, destructive and non-destructive inspection techniques, API & ASME codes, welding, and basic metallurgy
- Working knowledge of fixed equipment, rotating equipment, electrical equipment, mechanical repairs, and vibration analysis in petrochemical process plants
- Expertise in root cause failure analysis
- Experience in trending and extending mean time between failures (MTBF) across multiple assets
- Experience in facilities with precision maintenance programs
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
- Self-motivated leader
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) and AutoCAD
- PCMS and SAP experience a plus
