Job Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the maintenance department at Dairy Farmers of America, ensuring efficient delivery of maintenance services, compliance with safety regulations, and effective team management. This role requires overseeing preventive maintenance programs, managing personnel activities, and maintaining equipment performance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma with experience
- 5 to 8 years maintenance, mechanical engineering, or related experience
- 1+ year of manager experience preferred
- Manufacturing operations or production experience in the dairy industry preferred
- Certification and/or License – electrical, welding, boiler, refrigeration, compressed air, wastewater, or plumbing licenses preferred
- Able to read, write and speak English
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of principles and practices of supervision, training, and personnel management
- Experience leading and following safety policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of facility equipment and processes
