Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

Conduct daily preventive maintenance scheduling and coordinate repairs to minimize distribution downtime while troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment. Lead a team of technicians across multi-shift environments, managing hiring, training, performance, and disciplinary actions within a unionized workforce. Control the maintenance budget, oversee parts inventory purchasing, and execute root-cause failure analyses to maximize asset uptime and OEE. Travel between Feasterville and Ivyland sites to support operational continuity, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and quality control procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of recent supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Demonstrated hands-on technical experience with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment
  • Proven track record in team building, setting expectations, and establishing employee accountability
  • Practical experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and diagnosing root causes of asset failure
  • Ability to travel between Feasterville-Trevose and Ivyland Sites
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment for extended periods
  • Ability to visually inspect products, equipment, and work areas
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear
  • Position is 1st shift but must be flexible for evening and weekend work
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical degree, certification, or formal training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Prior experience managing maintenance personnel within a unionized workforce
  • Experience designing and sustaining formal preventive maintenance (PM) and asset reliability programs
  • Direct experience managing departmental budgets, contractor services, capital expenditures, and parts inventory/purchasing systems
