Job Summary
Maintenance Manager responsible for leading the site maintenance function at the Green Bay – Howard sites, ensuring asset reliability, preventive maintenance, and safe, cost-effective operation. Oversees contractors, partners with engineering to implement reliability strategies, plans and executes maintenance projects, and drives HSSE compliance and continuous improvement. Provides technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve equipment failures, approves high-risk permit activities, and participates in cross-functional teams to promote operational excellence and a strong safety culture. Requires 10+ years in engineering/maintenance, 3+ years of leadership, proficiency with SAP/CMMS, Lean Six Sigma/DMAIC, ASME B31.3, and experience in PSM/RMP environments; strong communication and ability to work on-site in a manufacturing/chemical plant.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant plant experience, or a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in engineering, maintenance, plant operations, or a related technical field
- Strong knowledge of industrial utility systems (steam, compressed air, cooling towers, chillers, HVAC)
- Experience managing facilities, utilities, service contractors, and general site infrastructure
- At least 5 years of experience in a PSM/RMP-regulated environment
- Proven leadership experience with a minimum of 3 years leading maintenance, operations, or technical teams
- Experience managing maintenance projects and CAPEX budgets
- Familiarity with ASME B31.3
- Proficiency with SAP, CMMS platforms
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC
- Experience with Enablon or EPI-MES or similar systems
- Strong analytical and root cause problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written English communication
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or chemical plant environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and wear PPE as needed
