Job Summary
Coordinate and implement the overall maintenance program, ensuring equipment follows preventive maintenance schedules and systems. Supervise maintenance crews for mechanical, fabrication, plumbing, welding, and electrical repairs while interpreting specifications to minimize downtime. Manage parts inventory, oversee purchasing, and analyze reports to improve efficiency and limit equipment outages. Safeguard project spending within budget, determine overtime needs, and post weekend schedules. Maintain equipment to OEM specs, troubleshoot inefficiencies, and ensure compliance with OSHA safety codes and environmental regulations. Perform maintenance functions and support other plants with training on MP-2 systems.
Required Qualifications
- 7 + years related experience
- 3 + management experience
- Background in steam boilers
- Preferred work in corrugated industry
- Ability to read blueprints and instructions books
- Knowledge of computers and automated machines
- Strong maintenance, plumbing, electrical background in AC/DC motor controls, troubleshooting and electrical wiring codes
- Ability to speak, hear, see, walk, stand, climb, twist, bend, grasp, reach, pull, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work weekends, extended hours and be on call 24 hours a day
