Job Summary
Lead day-to-day maintenance operations across the hotel, developing preventative schedules and responding promptly to requests and operational priorities. Manage contractors to ensure works complete safely, on time, and within budget while overseeing statutory compliance, WHS requirements, and fire safety systems. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to maintain the highest standards. Monitor maintenance budgets, maintain accurate records, and drive sustainability initiatives to improve energy efficiency. Work closely with all departments to minimize disruption and maximize guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance leadership role within hospitality, accommodation or facilities management
- Strong knowledge of building services including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems and fire safety
- Sound understanding of Work Health & Safety legislation and statutory compliance
- Experience managing contractors, projects and maintenance budgets
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A hands-on approach with the ability to prioritise competing demands
- Current driver's licence
