Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Oversee, plan, and issue work orders to shift team members for equipment modifications, preventative, and corrective maintenance. Coordinate maintenance resources, recommend capital and continuous improvement projects, and review equipment operations to identify issues in safety, quality, cost, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Track and analyze department KPIs, monitor location performance metrics for OEE improvements, and engage employees in problem resolution using Lean Manufacturing techniques. Ensure regulatory compliance with governmental agencies, manage the monthly and annual maintenance budget, assist in recruitment, and develop training plans to address skill gaps.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management
- 5-7 years of experience in Industrial Automation, PLCs, Pneumatics and Hydraulics, Injection Molding preferably in the Packaging Industry
- Management experience in operations, maintenance, engineering and/or process improvement roles including managing teams of people
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a Lean environment preferred
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification a plus
- Exceptional leadership and proven team-building skills
- Excellent analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills
- Has the ability to multi-task, prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Microsoft Office Proficiency
- SAP knowledge preferred
