Job Summary
Manage all engineering and maintenance operations, including the physical plant, grounds, and equipment systems like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Ensure regulatory compliance, oversee preventative maintenance schedules, and control budgets for capital expenditure and energy conservation. Direct contractors for bids and supervise construction projects while maintaining parts inventory and service contracts. Lead emergency response teams, conduct monthly property inspections, and drive corrective actions based on guest satisfaction data to uphold safety standards and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area
- technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major
- 1 year experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area
