Job Summary
Develop annual and long-range maintenance, repair, and capital expenditure plans to support business objectives while managing projects, installations, and equipment rebuilds. Engineer solutions to chronic downtime failures by driving root cause analysis and developing corrective action plans. Provide leadership and coaching for the Plant Maintenance Department, overseeing preventative and predictive maintenance programs, asset downtime measurement, and the computerized maintenance management system. Ensure all personnel adhere to Federal, State, and local safety and GMP policies while maintaining accurate regulatory records for compliance. Interface with outside vendors, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers to negotiate best-cost services and supplies. This full-time, salaried role at Maker's Pride's Front Royal, VA wafer and cracker plant offers a discretionary annual incentive. Relocation is not available.
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years of Maintenance Manager leadership experience
- Knowledge and understanding of CMMS programs
- Strong mechanical and electrical skill set
- Automation experience
- Experience in manufacturing equipment selection, sourcing, and installation
- Proven track record of successful project management
- Knowledge of and experience with CI/Lean Manufacturing
- Experience leading in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in safety management, environmental compliance, preparing and managing department budgets
- Experience in Strategic planning and KPI measurement
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control
- Analytical trouble shooting experience
- Ability to calmly handle stressful situations
- Strong problem-solving skills with CAPA
- Ability to recruit, build and coach successful teams
- Ability to negotiate business deals and develop long term partnerships with vendors
- Develop network of various vendors for successful project management

Desired Qualifications
- BS Engineering or related field
- Experience with MVP
- Experience working in food, beverage of FDA regulated manufacturing environment
