Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Ensure maintenance is upheld on all machinery through the facility by performing emergency and scheduled repairs, diagnosing problems, and replacing parts. Provide direction and motivation to team members, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and morale while developing their skills through performance evaluations and training plans. Assist with installing and maintaining production machines, performing simple machinist and mechanic duties including troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems. Update training matrices, assist in budget development, and track Manufacturing Key Performance Indicators to solve negative trends. Participate in management planning sessions for cost reduction and product improvement while maintaining positive team relations. Weekend and overnight work is necessary; this full-time role requires local travel and frequent lifting over 75 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship
- Equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience
- Strong hydraulic skills
- Strong pneumatic skills
- Strong mechanical skills
- Strong industrial skills
- Some PLC experience
- HVAC experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be available for weekend and overnight work
Desired Qualifications
- AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance
- Vacuum furnace experience
