Job Summary
Maintenance Manager governs the Maintenance Department, overseeing ~18 direct reports and all maintenance activities for site equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include implementing a preventive maintenance plan/system, managing maintenance work and parts via SAP S4HANA, budgeting for maintenance functions and special projects, soliciting bids, supervising external contractors, setting work-order priorities, evaluating performance and providing training requirements, assisting in procedures and standard practices for maintenance and facilities operations, ensuring compliance with state/federal codes (including V.D.H., A.D.A., N.F.C.), supporting non-capital projects through materials acquisition and project execution, evaluating spare parts for new/existing equipment, and continuously evaluating process equipment to maximize efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. Key skills include leadership, electrical, PLC and control systems, manufacturing, extrusion/yarn spinning equipment experience, strong communication, and computer proficiency. Education: Associate and/or Bachelor-level engineering/maintenance leadership experience preferred; 2+ years leading and supervising maintenance teams preferred; SAP S4HANA familiarity preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree Preferred
- Bachelor of Engineer Degree Preferred
- 2 or more years of experience leading a maintenance department preferred
- 2 or more years supervising a maintenance crew required
- Experience with Preventative Maintenance Systems preferred
- Experience with SAP (S4 Hana) preferred
