Job Summary
Lead daily maintenance operations across production equipment, facilities, utilities, and plant infrastructure; drive equipment reliability initiatives focused on reducing downtime and improving MTBF performance; manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS systems and maintenance performance data; develop maintenance staff through coaching, training, accountability, and succession planning; partner cross-functionally with production, quality, engineering, and EHS teams to support operational goals; oversee department budgeting, maintenance expenses, spare parts inventory, and contractor/vendor relationships; support capital improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives; ensure compliance with OSHA, food safety, USDA, HACCP, SQF, and company safety standards; create a culture focused on root cause analysis, preventative maintenance, and long-term equipment reliability
Required Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of maintenance leadership experience
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting knowledge
- Experience managing preventive and predictive maintenance systems and CMMS platforms
- Background leading maintenance teams in food, beverage, packaging, or related manufacturing environments strongly preferred
- Knowledge of PLCs, packaging equipment, plant utilities, and industrial systems
- Experience with budgeting, staffing, maintenance planning, and vendor management
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a hands-on management style
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred
