Job Summary
Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance department supporting manufacturing processes for product functionality and cost efficiency. Responsibilities include managing daily activities of the maintenance team and outside contractors; budgeting for maintenance including labor, parts, and services; ensuring thorough inventory control and documentation of maintenance processes; scheduling repairs and installations to maintain continuous production; coordinating with safety audits and compliance; and leading talent management initiatives within the department. Requires leadership experience, hands-on automation/robotics expertise, PLC proficiency, strong analytical/problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and documentation abilities. The role is based in Chippewa Falls, WI, with responsibility for plant-wide maintenance operations and coordination with engineering and production teams.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year Associate Degree in Industrial Mechanic/Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in leadership
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in Automation/Robotics
- Working knowledge with PLC equipment
- Technical knowledge including electrical, mechanical, industrial maintenance, automation and HVAC
- Hands on experience with operations and programming, robotics, and vision systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Attention to the quality of work detail
- Excellent computer competencies, including proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
