Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Support the preventative maintenance program at the local facility by coordinating schedules to reduce downtime while maintaining safe work practices. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, provide technical support to personnel, and maintain the PDM system through troubleshooting, software updates, and hardware installations. Direct maintenance employees to install, maintain, and repair equipment while following good housekeeping practices, and manage multiple projects simultaneously within approved budgets. Train and develop staff, monitor machine downtime, and execute CAPEX initiatives. Partner with the General Manager to offer guidance on equipment analysis and recommended courses of action for efficient, cost-effective operation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years of previous maintenance experience in a high-volume production, agricultural production, or distribution facility
- Experience working with multiple high-volume 24-hour production/warehouse environments
- Safety program management experience
- Must be willing to work flexible schedules/hours
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in standard business applications included in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiar with applicable federal and state laws about wage and hour, employee relations, and safety
Desired Qualifications
- 4-year college degree
- Demonstrated aptitude in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic applications
- Background in automation
- Process development experience and a proven record of operational success in balancing cost, quality, and performance
- Ability to develop and manage project plans with a budget
- Documented OSHA safety training and/or accreditation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proven planning and organizational skills with the ability to handle high-volume operational requirements
- Proven Ability to work/develop an effective team within a high-volume, 24-hour production/warehouse environment
- Excellent on-time decision-making skills
