Job Summary
The Maintenance Manager I will supervise the maintenance of production equipment, buildings, and utilities at the San Lorenzo facility within Tyson Foods' Prepared Foods unit. Responsibilities include planning and executing plant improvements and expansions; ensuring staff are proficient in operating equipment and maintenance practices; implementing safety programs and maintaining compliance with OSHA, PSM, and environmental regulations; monitoring refrigeration and wastewater systems; managing a computerized maintenance management system (SAP CMMS); analyzing maintenance data to drive improvements; administering the maintenance budget and managing parts/inventory; and leading maintenance personnel to maintain uptime, safety, and regulatory compliance while supporting organizational goals. Travel is required (1-5 domestic trips/year). Relocation assistance is available and sponsorship is not offered for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent
- 6+ years maintenance experience
- Supervisory experience
- Travel 1-5 domestic trips per year
