Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Oversee the safety of the maintenance team and the efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment, buildings, and grounds at the North Liberty and Elkhart plants. Ensure that maintenance work is conducted safely, meets quality standards, and stays within budget and timelines while implementing preventive maintenance plans, inspections, and predictive reliability measures. Lead the team to prioritize tasks, facilitate problem-solving sessions with operations and engineering, and manage capital projects to minimize unplanned downtime. Act swiftly on emergency responses and maintain facility upkeep and regulatory compliance. Occasional international travel is required.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 in Maintenance
- 3-5 years leadership experience
- Basic understanding of safety principles and risk recognition
- Familiarity with quality standards and housekeeping/organizational skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of CMMS, MVP, and blueprint reading
- Understanding of PLCs and proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to obtain project estimates and experience in project management
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team and delegate tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Capable of leading and guiding others in decision-making and problem-solving
- Accepts constructive feedback with a positive attitude
- Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills
- Able to identify and communicate important information to key stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Occasional international travel
Desired Qualifications
- Engineering degree preferred or combination of technical school and experience in similar role
- Spanish-speaking skills
