Job Summary
Maintenance Manager to supervise Maintenance Technicians and lead the property’s upkeep and safety programs. Responsible for preventive maintenance, inspections, scheduling, budget management, purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Tasks include making-ready of vacant units, grounds and custodial upkeep, emergency on-call procedures, and supporting resident retention programs. Requires driving the company or personal vehicle >50% of the time, supervision of staff, strong communication, and knowledge across trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry) with familiarity in Yardi and MS Office. Must ensure safety and regulatory compliance, manage inventory and equipment, and coordinate inspections and trainings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) Required
- advanced training or degree in building maintenance, management, construction, skilled trades, other related subject Preferred
- 5 or more years’ experience in building maintenance (Required)
- 1-3 years staff supervisory experience Required
- Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance Preferred
- DL NUMBER - Driver's License, Valid and in State Required
- HVAC/EPA certification Required
- OSHA 10 certification Required
