Job Summary
Lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly maintenance and technical professionals, including direct and indirect reports. Plan and execute all maintenance activities while managing reliability-centered maintenance systems to ensure equipment reliability with minimal downtime. Participate in team analysis for major breakdowns, collaborate with production teams to enhance operational efficiency, and document repair activities for compliance. Manage capital expenditure projects and coordinate with external contractors for specialized services. Champion a strong safety culture through training and adherence. This senior leadership role reports directly to the Plant Manager at a global Tier 1 automotive supplier's 24/7 unionized facility in Shelbyville, IN. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other related technical field
- 5 years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset
- Reliability Centered Maintenance experience including management of CMMS, PdM, PM and TPM systems
- CapEx project experience
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership experience in a union setting
