Job Summary
Lead the maintenance department and keep daily jobs on track, tackling repairs across electrics, plumbing, carpentry, and general fixes with confidence. Manage scheduled maintenance while responding to emergency fixes, ensuring facilities from rooftop to basement remain safe and functional. Coordinate with local contractors and suppliers to support guest stays. Work weekends on a shift rota basis in a small, family-run boutique hotel where your proactive problem-solving and hands-on skills directly impact guest experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience in maintenance or facilities management
- A practical, hands-on skillset across electrics, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs
- Organised, proactive, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
- Able to spot a problem before anyone else sees it — and sort it quickly
- Comfortable managing compliance checks and health & safety standards
- Must be available for weekends on a shift rota basis
