Job Summary
Manage the plant maintenance and reliability team, embedding reliability-centered maintenance principles including route-based preventative work plans, precision alignment of high-speed rotating equipment, and predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis and IR scanning. Lead daily maintenance work order reviews and planning meetings with operations and CMMS stakeholders to schedule tasks one week out while ensuring strict adherence to safety policies, daily safety meetings, and timely remediation of issues. Oversee budget tracking, monthly KPI reporting on PM attainment and work order completion, and root cause analysis for unplanned equipment failures. Direct personnel development through technical training, performance evaluations, and goal setting, while partnering with engineering teams on capital projects, MOC reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Submit monthly area reports tracking safety, environmental, quality, and cost drivers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant reliability-centered maintenance technical and maintenance skills
- Experience leading successful teams with an emphasis on organizational development
- Ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills: MS Office Suite, Process Data Historian tools (OSI PI or other), Maximo/SAP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Self-motivated customer-focused aptitude and attitude
- Ability to build good relationships with both internal peers and external support groups
- Leadership style consistent with a participative environment
- Broad-based technical skills and the ability to implement goals and objectives through effective planning and organizing
- 5+ years of technical and/or plant experience
- Valid drivers License
- Must be able to manage confined space entry
- Must be able to climb ladders and steps
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Must be able to work at heights
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must be able to maintain ongoing work authorization without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must successfully pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a continuous industrial processing setting
- Experience in skilled trade or craft
- Four-year technical degree (Chemical, Mechanical, Agricultural Engineering)
- Dry Milling, Corn Wet Milling, or related industrial knowledge
- Broad industrial and technical knowledge
- Experience implementing Process Safety Management (PSM) and related systems
