Job Summary
Lead the maintenance and reliability team by ensuring safety compliance, executing route-based preventative and predictive maintenance plans, and managing weekly maintenance planning and scheduling. Conduct daily work order reviews with operations and maintenance planners, execute root cause analyses for unplanned failures, and track monthly KPIs including PM attainment and work order backlogs. Direct personnel development through performance evaluations and technical training while maintaining strict control over the R&M budget and cost drivers. Partner with engineering leaders to execute capital projects, update CMMS data, and represent the plant in fleet benchmarking exercises to drive continuous improvement in plant reliability and uptime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant reliability-centered maintenance technical and maintenance skills
- Experience leading successful teams with an emphasis on organizational development
- Ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills: MS Office Suite, Process Data Historian tools (OSI PI or other), Maximo/SAP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Self-motivated customer-focused aptitude and attitude
- Ability to build good relationships with both internal peers and external support groups
- Leadership style consistent with a participative environment
- Broad-based technical skills and the ability to implement goals and objectives through effective planning and organizing
- 5+ years of technical and/or plant experience
- Valid drivers License
- Must be able to manage confined space entry
- Must be able to climb ladders and steps
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Must be able to work at heights
- Must be regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts
- Must be regularly exposed to dusty conditions
- Must be regularly exposed to high noise environments
- Must be regularly exposed to outside weather in all conditions
- Must be regularly exposed to chemicals used in the process
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must be able to maintain ongoing work authorization without employer sponsorship now or in the future
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a continuous industrial processing setting
- Experience in skilled trade or craft
- Four-year technical degree (Chemical, Mechanical, Agricultural Engineering)
- Dry Milling, Corn Wet Milling, or related industrial knowledge
- Broad industrial and technical knowledge
- Experience implementing Process Safety Management (PSM) and related systems
